As part of the Public Programme for 'Use Hearing Protection: FAC 1 - 50 / 40', Chelsea Space invited visitors to the exhibition to submit poster designs inspired by the first 50 Factory artefacts: FAC 1 – 50.
5 designs were selected by Simon Maidment, Dean of Design at Chelsea, Camberwell and Wimbledon, and announced during an event at Chelsea Space on 24 October 2019.
The 5 designs were all printed, framed and exhibited on the outside wall of Chelsea Space, and the first prize winner received a 'Use Hearing Protection: Factory Records 1978-79' box set, offered by Warner Music UK.
The five selected designs were created by Steven Fenwick, Fliss Horrocks, Edith Owen, Chloe Wang and Macy Ward.
